Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was in Knoxville Wednesday helping with a special announcement at the Boys and Girls Club.

While here, Phelps met with William Watson III, who has been in the news before. Phelps awarded him the Head and Shoulders Confidence Award at the London Olympics in 2012. Watson is a swimmer on the Haslam Family University Club team.

“To try to help kids live healthy lifestyles but also be healthy in the pool, you know I think that’s something that is not only important here, but I think it’s important all over the country and all over the world,” said Phelps.
