What If You Were Swallowed by a Whale?
Close calls with whales happen more often than you might expect. And although the people in these videos got away relatively unscathed, there’s no denying that they were just meters away from becoming a whale’s lunch. But what would happen if they hadn’t been so lucky? Could a human body survive being swallowed by a whale? Has it ever happened before?

Why A High Elbow Catch Isn’t ‘High’
There’s a big confusion around what a high elbow catch is, that it should be elbow near the surface. While it shouldn’t be really deep, the elbow will usually be at least 15cm or more below the surface…but the way we define a ‘high elbow catch’ has got anything to do with its height.
Develop your catch and knock 10/secs per 100m (or more) off your pace? Many swimmers have done it inside the Effortless Swimming Video Membership: https://effortlessswimming.com/member…

Goa Swimming Coach Booked For Raping National Junior Gold Medallist After Video Goes Viral
A swimming coach in Goa has been booked for the rape of a National Junior gold medallist after a purported video of the incident went viral on social media.
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has also stepped in and promised stringent action against the accused after a Twitter user tagged him with screenshots from the video, demanding his intervention.
Surajit Ganguly, who was employed by the Goa Swimming Association (GSA), was accused by the 15-year-old girl training under him of molestation, after he called her to the Mapusa centre in North Goa from West Bengal.
The girl has alleged that during her six months stay in Goa, she was mentally and physically tortured by him. The matter came to light after her parents, who went to Goa with her, noticed that her performances were dipping and she was avoiding Ganguly.
When pressed to reveal what happened, she broke down and narrated the ordeal to her parents. They immediately went back to Bengal and tried to file a police complaint.
The girl took to social media after the police station in her hometown showed reluctance in lodging a complaint on the grounds that the incident happened in Goa.
“My coach used to touch me and physically assaulted me. I have decided to reveal this because I want to save many other girls who may have gone through the same ordeal. Shockingly, when I went to the police station, they told me to lodge a complaint with the Goa police,†she said in a Facebook post.
The GSA sacked the coach on Thursday. A case under IPC sections 376 (rape), 354 (molestation) and 506 (criminal intimidation), as well as under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and Goa Children’s Act was registered against Ganguly who is yet untraceable, said inspector Kapil Nayak of Mapusa police station in Goa.

Swimming with an underwater drone :: Gladius Mini
They sent us a water drone! Or mini-submarine with a camera, whatever you want to call it. The company Chasing sent us their latest version of their water drone, the Gladius mini. I have to say I am impressed. Disclaimer: We did not pay for the Drone, they agreed for us to do an honest review, also if you buy the Gladius Mini through our link in the description within 30 days of clicking it, we will get a small fee.
The camera capabilities are outstanding. In some big ways, they are better than a GoPro. It has 4k video that you can adjust right on the screen. You can adjust the hue, contrast, sharpness and the bitrate. In 1080p meaning HD video, you can even control the frames per seconds. You can go up to 120 frames per second so you can really show every movement in slow motion. The two main things that the GoPro 7 camera is superior over the gladius mini camera is it stabilizes the video by itself via software and it has up to 240 frames per second. However, since the drone pretty much stabilizes itself there is no need for extra stabilization. Also, 120 frames per second is plenty if you want to slow things down and show the details.
For its unique capabilities we will for sure use it in our next swimming camp to correct techniques and have amazing footage. If you are a coach or you are in a swim team and you think your team can benefit from having one of these, click on the link bellow. Or contact us with any of your water drone questions to skillsntalents@gmail.com
I forgot to mention one thing… It is super fun to play with! I’ll see you later!
