The Year 6 Swim Gala took place yesterday in the glorious sunshine at the HKU Henry Fok Swimming Pool. Each child competed in two races at their own swimming level, which they had chosen. There was energy, excitement & lots of effort from everyone, all hoping to earn as many points as possible for their house! The relay races were particularly exciting, with everyone cheering for their fastest freestyle swimmers. The Sports Ambassadors worked hard to help organise the swimmers & collect the swim times from our parent volunteer timekeepers. Our noodle train race at the end was a lot of fun & cooled us all down perfectly! In the end, Dragons triumphed with 480 points, followed by Lions with 399 points, Phoenix with 379 points & Unicorns with 359 points. Well done to everyone who participated & thank you to our fabulous Aquakids swim teachers, Year 6 teachers, office staff & parent volunteers who helped the event run so smoothly.
