Awesome proposal at the 2013 Bluegrass Mountain Conference Meet
(Hope I’m right about the meet, found some info here)
I proposed to my girlfriend of 3 years at her conference swim meet. We both swam for Pfeiffer University for 4 years and this was her final conference championship swim meet which was held at the Mecklenburg County Aquatics Center (MCAC pool) in downtown Charlotte, NC.
Valentines Day was just 2 days before the proposal and I couldn’t make it down there that night. So when I finally made it there on Saturday, she had it running through her head that this was a late Valentines Day “gift” from me. Until I walked out to meet her in the middle of the pool, she had no clue what was going on.
