    The expert swimming pool retailers, Edge Leisure, take us through the new development being built near the former Battersea power station.

    Hanging 10 storeys above the ground, Irish developer Ballymore is planning on introducing a 25 by 5 meter pool acting as a bridge between the two apartment buildings in London’s Nine Elms district. The vision is that residents can swim from one apartment building to the other, and view all that London has to offer through the glass walls and floors.

  • Brampton offering to teach adults how to ‘swim to survive’ – and it’s free

    Brampton is becoming the first municipality in Canada to offer Swim to Survive 14+ – a free, three-lesson drowning prevention program for local adults and teens that could save their lives.

    The program offers three one-hour lessons that will teach adults and teens how to survive an accidental fall into water. It will be offered this winter at recreation centre pools.

    Kenya risks missing out on the Rio 2016 Paralympic games swimming competition. This comes a week after Kenya pulled out of the international paralympic committee athletics world championships cum Rio 2016 qualifiers in Doha, Qatar after the government failed to release funds on time.

    Speaking to K24 sport at Kasarani international complex on Tuesday, Kenya paralympics committee is now calling on the government to sponsor the swimming team to honor the forthcoming coming qualification competition in Europe.
