West Fargo High School girls swimming coach Ronald Hehn has been fired.

Hehn was dismissed for what the school called “inappropriate coaching practices.” He was in the midst of his first season as the varsity coach. “Mr. Hehn will not have any additional contact with student-athletes in any current or future role as a coach or educator in the West Fargo School District,” the school said in an official statement. “West Fargo Public Schools is committed to providing all students a positive academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular experience.”

School officials say they are continuing their investigation into the matter.

If you’re going to recreate a massively famous painting in live action, you might as well do it right.

Well, Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam” — that one painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel — is pretty much as daunting a challenge as you could get.

These Redditors certainly did it proud, though:

A friend and I tried to recreate The Creation Of Adam. I think it turned out pretty well. from r/pics

  • Olympian Hannah Miley talks about overcoming her ‘huge’ fears in Aberdeen charity event

With the tank plunged into darkness, alarms sounding, and wind and waves pounding at her, Olympian swimmer Hannah Miley was forced to face her greatest fear.

The Commonwealth gold medalist is no stranger to water in the pool but the claustrophobia brought on by undertaking Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) was a different matter.

Confined to a small space and struggling for breath it took all the determination that has taken her to the top of her sport to see the 29-year-old through to the end of the challenge.

Driving her to overcome her “huge” fears, however, was the prospect of raising money for an Aberdeen-based still birth charity that is close to her heart.
