Singapore Swimmer Quah Ting Wen’s Omission From Paris Olympics Confirmed After Appeal Rejected | CNA

Singapore veteran swimmer Quah Ting Wen said the way she lost her spot in the 4x100m relay team for the Paris Olympics is unfair, but it has fuelled her desire to not quit the sport. The 31-year-old said she does not want the heartbreak to be the last memory of her decades-long career. World Aquatics has rejected Singapore’s last-ditch appeal to include her in the Summer Games. Ting Wen is the most prolific athlete in SEA Games history with 60 medals from nine editions, including 34 golds. Alif Amsyar reports.
