Nearly half of Hongkongers do not know how to swim. That’s one of the reasons why Libby Alexander co-founded the Splash Foundation in 2015. First starting with domestic helpers, the foundation now also teaches young people from low-income families and children with special needs. To date, Splash has taught over 6,000 people how to swim. In this episode of Listen to Her, Alexander speaks with Post correspondent Laura Westbrook about her goal to alleviate swimming illiteracy in the city and how swimming makes an impact in communities.
