A 13-year-old boy from Los Banos, California has become the youngest person to complete what’s known as the “Godfather” swim across Lake Tahoe.
James Savage completed the 12-mile swim in less than seven hours.
“We still say that every day, ‘He did what?’ That seems like a daily occurrence with him,” mother Jillian Savage said. “He did what?”
The teen swam the true-width of Lake Tahoe last week from Cave Rock to the Grand Avenue Dock near Florida Lock on the West Shore.

This is an annual swim. Every year the whales come to a small bay in Western Australia and give birth to their young. They are just 50 meters from shore and love to explore anything in the water that sparks their natural curiosity.
