Brazil isn’t a country known for its big waves and yet, over the past decade, Brazilians have been dominating the world of surfing. But why tho? Filmmaker Andy Burgess explores what it is about athletes like Lucas “Chumbo” Chianca, Mateus Herdy, Carlos Burle, Rodrigo Koxa, and more that have led them to become champions of the surfing world, despite not growing up in big wave surfing hotspots.

On 2nd August 2020 Open water swimming competition in Orfű was organized in Pécs Lake. There are two distances: 1.8 km = swimming across the lake and 4.2 km =swimming around the lake. Orfű is a very famous touristic place, it is located next to Pécs City and it is surrounded by hills. This is not real competition, since there is no award ceremony, it is more like a swimming event. This year only online registration was possible to reduce contacts, because of the Covid19 situation. At this location I always swim 4.2 km distance because who swim 1.8, he has to walk from registration (and finish) point to the start. Swimmers on 4.2 km race have start and finish (almost) in the same location.
