The finals for China’s national swimming competition is being held from January 1 to January 3 in north China’s Shijiazhuang City. Hosted by the Chinese Swimming Association, the top-level swimming competition is regarded as preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Swimming stars including Yan Zibei, Xu Jiayu, Wang Shun, and Grand Slam winner of Olympic Games and World Champions Ye Shiwen take part in the final competitions.

Dave was the head coach at the University of Southern California from 2006 to early 2020 when he stepped down from his post to turn his attention to his Olympic athletes who were (and still are) preparing for the Tokyo Games.
