Florida Man Attacked by Alligator in Myakka River While Diving for Fossils
A Florida man was doing what he does often – free diving for fossilized shark teeth in the Myakka River. He says there are tons of them, including his favorite fossils from the prehistoric massive shark, the megalodon. That’s when he was attacked by an alligator, being bitten on the head.
“It just hit me twice – once right here, once right here – and I think my hand might have protected my face because I have a puncture wound on the top and bottom. But it just happened so fast, there’s nothing I could have done to defend myself.”

A family in Kwale is tonight mourning the death of of it’s identical twins who lost their lives after drowning in the indian ocean last evening. The bodies of Solomon Gitundu and Kennedy Gitundu were retrieved this morning, several hours after they were last seen. Local divers together with divers from the county government of Kwale helped retrieve the bodies.

Man Drowns in Salt River Near Sheep Crossing | 12 News
Deputies are investigating after a man drowned in the Salt River Monday afternoon.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said they got calls of an emergency near Sheep Crossing around 4 p.m.
Witnesses reported seeing the victim go under the water and didn’t resurface.
Deputies and other swimmers helped find the man and tried to revive him, but authorities said he passed away.
