    More and more parents are signing up their kids for swim lessons where they are fully clothed. It’s to help children survive if they ever accidentally fall into the water. Swim instructor Morgan Harkness says if a child falls into the water fully clothed, they can easily panic and drown. Fully clothed 6-year-olds enrolled in Imagine Swimming in Brooklyn, New York, were ready to hit the pool to learn to swim. Inside Edition’s Alison Hall has more.

    Video footage and photographs have emerged of a British tourist who came close to losing his life while swimming off the coast of Pattaya last month. The tourist, who remains unidentified, got into trouble while swimming and was able to make his way to a buoy, where he was eventually rescued by a passing fisherman in his boat.

    Merle Liivand, aka Mermaid Merle, broke a record by swimming 30 miles around Florida’s Biscayne Bay wearing a monofin, all the while collecting some 20 pounds of trash.
