    Danger could be lurking at a popular tourist swimming spot at Queensland’s North Stradbroke Island after a large saltwater crocodile of up to three meters was sited in the area. Visitors have been warned to stay away until investigations have concluded.

    A Greensboro mother is taking action to teach kids to swim.

    Her son, 15-year-old Malik Ramirez, was a student at Page High School when he drowned in a private lake.

    He was swimming with two other students when he went under. His mother told said, Malik never learned to swim.

    A pastor from Wentworth just outside Durban in KZN has joined forces with fathers from the community to fix the local swimming pool which has become neglected and overrun by rats and other vermin. And they are prepared to do it out of their own pockets. It seems the only problem is, the local municipality, which they say is topping its efforts.     Former NFL player Peyton Hillis has been hospitalized for the last week after a swimming accident, but he is showing improvement.

    Hillis’s girlfriend, Angela Cole, wrote on Instagram that Hillis went into the water to save his children from drowning. Hillis was in intensive care and on a ventilator but now doing well enough that he no longer needs the ventilator.
