    An elderly swimmer has been reunited with her two dogs snatched from a car park in Melbourne’s southeast while she was in the pool. A good Samaritan rescued the shetland sheepdogs after they were found dumped on the side of the road.

    If you’re looking to beat the heat by going for a swim, it won’t be at the Goodman Pool for a while. The pool will be closed for the rest of the month, starting July 21.

    Goodman Pool is set to host Madison’s All-City Championship Swim Meet, a large outdoor amateur swim meet.

    Thirteen area teams will compete from July 27 through 29.

    Everyone is invited to attend either through volunteering or just watching.

    A four-man relay team has become the first quartet from Singapore to swim across the iconic English Channel. They started from Samphire Hoe in England early this morning Singapore time and completed the 33-kilometer swim in 11 hours and 25 minutes, landing at Cap Gris Nez in northern France. The team comprises former national swimmer Mark Tan, as well as Alvin Tan, Lim Chee Kiong, and Ng Chee Soon.
