Police photographs obtained by The Sunday Mail show the extent of the Olympic gold medalist’s fury, with an upended baby grand piano, smashed furniture and holes punched in the wall. Officers who attended the scene were told that Hackett – who weighs nearly  100 kg and is almost 2m tall – grabbed his diminutive wife and threw her against a window like a rag doll. The couple’s petrified young twins were in the apartment at the time and were traumatized after witnessing the manic outburst, distraught and shaking with fear when police arrived. Read for instance Courier Mail and see more photos here on The Telegraph.
