    “An annual charity swim around Dalkey Island that is held on St. Patrick’s Day. Most of the swimmers are active Scuba Divers and all money raised goes to the RNLI. Interviews with the organisers, participants and of course, the event itself.”

    Via Arbroath, a man fishing in a Vietnamese river learned the hard way how difficult it can be to fish safely by improvised stun gun. A relative quickly disconnected the mains electricity, limiting his injuries to only burnt hands and bruised pride.

    Here’s our inaugural swim tips video. The idea for doing this came to me while I was shoveling snow all day yesterday! All humor aside, this is a great way to manage immersion shock prior to swimming in colder water temperatures.

    It was awesome, the way Poland’s RadosÅ‚aw KawÄ™cki moved past Ryan Lochte underwater after the final turn, to win the men’s 200 meter backstroke at the FINA 2012 World Swimming Championships (25m) in Istanbul, Turkey. See the result list here
