Summary
Again tonight, a lot of Swedes qualifying for the Herning 2013 European Short Course Championships. The Swedes now have a full roster of female breaststrokers, 4 swimmers in each of the three breaststroke events, equalling the maximum number that LEN allows for the Europeans. Simon Sjödin set a championships record of 1:54.71 in the men’s 200 IM, and veterans Petter Stymne and Stefan Nystrand qualified in the men’s 50 freestyle.

- 200 fly M - Simon Sjödin and Jesper Björk
- 200 free W – Michelle Coleman, Louise Hansson and Céline Bertrand
- 50 free M – Petter Stymne, Stefan Nystrand and Christoffer Carlsen
- 50 breast W – Jennie Johansson, Jessica Billquist, Rebecca Ejdervik and Jessica Eriksson
- 200 back W – Therese Svendsen
- 1500 free M – Adam Paulsson

A lot of happy qualifiers again tonight, many of them in their second, third or fourth event. Sarah Sjöström clocked 24.12 in the 50 free with Michelle Coleman chasing in 24.46.
