  • Video: Shark Bites Swimmer and Refuses to Let Go

This “Jaws” is a small nurse shark, not a Great White — but its shocking attack evokes horrific scenes from the 1975 flick.

Stomach-churning video shows the predator latched onto the stomach of a terrified Ervin Maccarty, who went swimming off the coast of Marathon, Fla.

“Don’t cut me! Don’t bleed him out on me!” Maccarty yells after climbing onto a boat as a friend – who appears to need a bigger knife – slices away at the shark.

“He didn’t get your penis, did he?” another chum says, trying to inject some gallows humor as Maccarty writhes in pain and blood spurts everywhere.

Three local boys swept the podium at the Boston Sharkfest Swim, but the reason they were there is far more personal than first, second and third.

Four years ago, Michael Ardito dove head first into helping his little sister and that fight hasn’t stopped since.
