• During 2019 I spent 157 days (and 1,780 miles) swimming around Great Britain. Spending 12 hours in the water per day, I essentially skipped leg day for 6 months and so often get asked about how I’ve been able to rehab my legs and adjust to life back on land. Which is why I wanted to make this video for you guys showing how my lower body conditioning is void of any specific strength and conditioning and more focused on “general” stress, stimuli, force and resistance.

  • At a Sydney beach our Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual search and rescue drone identified 5-10 bronze whaler sharks cruising along the beach at various points in time. We alerted the public using the emergency speaker system (recording a message live, transmitting it to the drone, and then playing it to the public), and nobody ever appeared at risk. While record-keeping is very poor, outright fatalities from bronze whalers are rare compared to Great White Sharks with only two recent deaths in Australia. One was at Tathra Beach in NSW in 2014 while another was at Bunker Bay in Western Australia in 2011. We have provided a few links below on reported Bronze Whaler fatalities:

Danas Rapsys added the 200m freestyle gold to his 400m crown. The Lithuanian swam a really strong race again on day 3 of the FINA Swimming World Cup 2019 in Budapest.

As a worthy finish to the three-day spectacle at the FINA Swimming World Cup 2019 in Budapest, Katinka Hosszu fulfilled the crowd’s expectations and won the 200m Individual Medley pretty easily.

Aussie Cate Campbell managed to come up with the best individual effort while triumphing in the 100m freestyle at the FINA Swimming World Cup 2019 in Budapest, to stay close to Katinka Hosszu.

Astonishing stuff from super-talent Kristof Milak at the 4th leg of the FINA Swimming World Cup 2019 in Budapest. Around 30 mins after medalling in the 400m Free he was back in the pool winning the 100m Fly. Another Hungarian double with Szebastian Szabo in second and Poland’s Jakub Majerski third.

Vladimir Morozov did not commit any mistake at the 4th leg of the FINA Swimming World Cup 2019 in Budapest while making 4/4 in the 50m Freestyle this season. He just copied his winning time from Tokyo where he raced tapered just some days after the World Championships so his 21.50 here (the best time based on the FINA points on Day 1) is really a worthy effort to celebrate his 100th World Cup gold medal.
