Two hundred and fifty-four Marilyns of all shapes and sizes gathered this year (February 2020) to set a new record in the Guinness Book Of Records before swimming at Brighton Beach in Adelaide, South Australia. Money raised by the Marilyns go to Cancer Council SA for their ongoing support for cancer patients and their families.

South Africa swimming champion suspended for 1 year
South African swimming champion and world record holder, Roland Schoeman, has been banned for a year after testing positive for a banned substance in May 2019.
