Magnus has been a busy man these past 12 days, setting 7 Faroese records and 7 junior records the five days at the European Junior Championship, and then again 6 Faroese records and 7 junior records the six days at the Danish Championships (with one travel day in between).

  • July 4th – 100 backstroke in 57.91 – senior and junior
  • July 4th – 50 butterfly in 24.69 – senior and junior
  • July 6th – 200 backstroke in 2:04.43 – senior and junior
  • July 6th – 200 backstroke in 2:04.12 – senior and junior
  • July 7th – 50 backstroke in 26.53 – senior and junior
  • July 7th – 100 butterfly in 54.12 – senior and junior

Magnus’s Faroese records at the Danish Champs

  • July 10th – 50 backstroke in 26.34 – senior and junior
  • July 10th – 100 freestyle in 51.91 – senior and junior
  • July 13th – 200 IM in 2:06.92 – senior and junior
  • July 13th – 50 freestyle in 23.88 – senior and junior
  • July 13th – 50 freestyle in 23.48 – senior and junior
  • July 13th – 200 freestyle in 1:55.21 – junior
  • July 15th – 100 backstroke in 56.64 – senior and junior

At the Europeans he reached 3 semifinals, while at the Danish Championships he won 1 individual senior gold medal and 2 silver, plus 3 individual junior gold medals and 1 silver, plus 1 senior gold, 1 bronze medal and  2 junior gold medals in the relays.
