Heir of Temptation aka ‘William’, a 6-year-old Arabian valued at $150,000, was part of a photo clinic on the beach of Santa Barbara, until it got spooked by ocean waves crashing on shore. Instead of running away from the waves, it charged them and swam two miles out to sea. The animal managed to stay afloat despite having its long tail wrapped around one of its legs for almost three hours, the veterinarian crediting its breeding: “Being an Arabian, I think, has a lot to do with his endurance level.
