A little insight into a swim in Loch Ness. Dark, deep, atmospheric and amazingly refreshing! Wild swimming has been proven to have health benefits both physical and mental and you really don’t need to swim far at all. Just dipping is enough to feel amazing!
A family of boaters spotted the swimming bear with a large plastic jar on it’s head, and swooped to the rescue.
Before swim, check the tide times.
Swim 1-2hrs before high tide.
Look at other swimmers and see what direction they are being pulled to.
Always be aware how strong the tide pull and undercurrents are.
Note which direction you are being pulled to by looking at a fixed landmark or buoy.
