Payton Woods has a tough choice to make. The former Central swimming standout is trying to balance staying in the pool and continuing to train for the Olympic Trails or start a career in marketing. The recent Michigan State grad is working at an internship this summer for a company out of Columbus, Ohio, and if everything goes well, he’s hoping to land a job. That could make training for the postponed Trials tougher though.

Clark County Public Health is closing Vancouver Lake to swimmers due to elevated levels of E. coli bacteria detected during routine testing. Some E. coli bacteria can cause serious gastrointestinal illness if water is accidentally swallowed.
