Critiquing World Record Holders Strength Program | Swimmer Strength
This is a self-critique to my first ever strength program for Cesar Cielo leading up for the 2013 World Championships.
A lot of my programming has changed, but a lot remains the same. Such as incorporating movements at varying velocities during the power cycles, the intense core sets, and the strength endurance work.
Sound training principles for competitive athletes with appropriate communication methods tend to excel the right athletes straight to where they want to go. I must emphasize the word, Competitive. They accept challenges. They don’t take no for an answer. They get the hard work done. Sometimes, it’s that simple.

Swimming in Pécs Lake in Orfű
On 2nd August 2020 Open water swimming competition in Orfű was organized in Pécs Lake. There are two distances: 1.8 km = swimming across the lake and 4.2 km =swimming around the lake. Orfű is a very famous touristic place, it is located next to Pécs City and it is surrounded by hills. This is not real competition, since there is no award ceremony, it is more like a swimming event. This year only online registration was possible to reduce contacts, because of the Covid19 situation. At this location I always swim 4.2 km distance because who swim 1.8, he has to walk from registration (and finish) point to the start. Swimmers on 4.2 km race have start and finish (almost) in the same location.
