This Great White Shark Stunned All Shark Experts By Jumping 15 Feet Above Water
So, a great white shark, one of the largest sharks in the world, was seen emerging from the water and launching itself into the air. But this wasn’t an ordinary leap because it managed to get itself 15 feet (4.57 meters) above water.
In context, according to Sharks World, a typical shark will jump up to 8-10 feet (2.4–3 meters) above water. For this reason, seeing a shark soar another 5 feet above this mark makes a record-breaking breach.

Man rescued after attempting mile-long swim off Dauphin Island
The Coast Guard rescued a man attempting a mile-long swim off of Dauphin Island.Â
According to USCG, the man tried to swim from the southern tip Pelican Island to the Pelican Island Sandbar about a mile away. His wife called for help after he had not returned after an hour and a half.Â
A Coast Guard boat went to the area and found the man in the water. He told rescuers he was caught in a current and could not swim out of it.Â
