Roland Schoeman’s World Record at Montreal 2005! | Fina World Championships
Olympic and World Championships Gold Medallist, South Africa’s Roland Schoeman gave another brilliant performance in the 50m Butterfly event in the 2005 FINA World Championships in Montreal. He did not only claim his second Gold Medal in the competition, but also did so in World Record time, ahead of USA’s Ian Crocker and Ukraine’s Sergii Breus.

Video: Caeleb Dressel Sets World Record, First Under 50 Seconds in 100 IM
Caeleb Dressel obliterated the world record in the 100 IM at Monday’s ISL Semifinal 2, going 49.88 in the 100 individual medley.
The world record had been Vlad Morozov’s 50.26, the Russian with a stranglehold on the top 10 times in history before the ISL season began. Dressel’s American record had been 50.48, set in ISL Match 10, then the seventh-fastest in history. Morozov’s record dates to Sept. 28, 2018, set in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Tuesday, Dressel just left the pack behind from the get-go. He went out in 22.79, then came back in 27.09.

Video: Adam Peaty breaks 100m breaststroke short course world record
Britain’s Adam Peaty set a world record for the short course 100 metres breaststroke at the professional International Swimming League (ISL) in Budapest on Sunday, finishing in a time of 55.49 seconds.
The previous record of 55.61 seconds was set by South African swimmer Cameron van der Burgh in Berlin 11 years ago.

Video: Kira Toussaint Takes Down World Record in 50 Backstroke
Heading into the semifinals of the International Swimming League season, one of the world records on alert was the women’s 50-meter backstroke. Indeed, that global standard went down on Saturday at the Duna Arena in Budapest, as the London Roar’s Kira Toussaint covered her two laps in 25.60 to better the 2014 mark of Etiene Medeiros. The Brazilian held the mark for nearly six years at 25.67.
