The body of a 29-year-old man who went missing while boating on Lake Tahoe in August was found Saturday at 1,565 feet — the deepest recovery ever recorded in the U.S.

Bruce’s Legacy, a nonprofit organization that specializes in underwater body recovery, and its founder Keith Cormican, were recruited by the family of Ryan Normoyle after several days of searching with no results.

The recovery at Lake Tahoe, the second-deepest lake in the U.S. and fourth-deepest in North America with a maximum depth of 1,645 feet, was the deepest in American history, Cormican said.

The previous deepest recovery in Lake Tahoe was Sept. 17, 2018, when the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office marine unit recovered a body from 1,062 feet below.

Noise pollution caused by whale-watching boats and other human activity can interrupt orca communications and disorient the marine mammals. Scientists with the nonprofit Ocean Sounds are working to make Norway’s Lofoten archipelago a marine protected area, which would limit noise pollution and prevent oil drilling around the Arctic island chain.

Enjoy watching Olympic Swimmer for Team USA and Olympic Gold Medallist of London 2021 Breeja Larson teaching you how to improve your Breaststroke kick! The Breaststroke kick is what makes this stroke so powerful. If you want to refer it to a land exercise, the breaststroke kick would be more like a jumping squad. Therefore, the legs movement needs to be precise and very symmetrical. The cool thing about swimming is you can do the same repetition a hundred times without getting tired.

    Remember:

    1. Keep your body in a streamlined position
    2. Keep your knees closer together
    3. Flex heels outwards
    4. Push water back
