The greatest diver of all-time? Greg Louganis at Seoul 1988 🇺🇸 | Athlete Highlights
US-American diver Greg Louganis is frequently called the greatest diver of all-time. He won four Olympic gold medals in the 3m Springboard and the 10m Platform Diving events. Starting at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics on home soil, Louganis claimed the Gold medal both on the springboard and platform for the first time. Four years later, at the Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, he repeated his gold medal journey, becoming the only man and the second diver in Olympic history to sweep the diving events in consecutive Olympic Games. Prior to the Final in Seoul, Greg Louganis suffered a concussion after his head struck the springboard during the preliminary rounds. However, he still managed to qualify for the Finals where, showing perseverance and determination, Louganis delivered an outstanding performance to complete his incredible comeback. Taiwan swimmer Eddie Wang smashes own world junior record
Teen swim sensation Eddie Wang has once again broken his own world junior record. The 18-year-old from Taiwan put up a time of 1:49.89 in the men’s 200 butterfly at the International Swimming League semis. This was his third time setting the world junior record for the event this season.

Lloyd Aquatic Center At a Glance | Mercersburg Academy
The 41,000-square-foot Lloyd Aquatic Center opened in 2019 and features the Olympic-size Furnary Pool with a diving area, locker rooms, seating for spectators, and office space. The 10-lane pool employs a system of movable bulkheads to allow for the transformation of the 50-meter space into two separate 25-yard courses, giving swimmers the opportunity to train and compete at both short-course and long-course distances.
