Swimmer Dies After Going Missing on Lake Travis
A swimmer died on Wednesday afternoon after being pulled from the water at Lake Travis.
Around 2:40 p.m., Lake Travis Fire Rescue (LTFR) said its crews, along with the Austin Fire Department, responded to a missing swimmer in Lake Travis near Bob Wentz Park.

Jack Smith and his friends spent four days building their own pool so it was ready in time for the heatwave.
The group spent two days building the project, using hay bales and silage wrap to create a pit that they lined with tarpaulin, and then two more days filling it with water.
