Growing up on the spectrum and with an intellectual impairment, Bailey Conlon felt like he was living in a world that wasn’t quite made for him, a world where he didn’t belong. Then he found swimming, and with it, he found his place, his purpose, his tribe – he feels he belongs.
Now, with the support of Swimming NZ, Bailey is heading to a training camp in Rotorua, specifically for swimmers with an intellectual impairment. With five days of training ahead of him, Bailey is looking forward to pushing himself in the water and, most importantly, connecting with people who understand him. Bailey has set a goal of making it to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The World’s Longest Non-Stop Lake Swim? | Ross Edgley Vlogs
How long can a human swim NON-STOP for? #Ad Myself, @talisker, and @parley.tv intend to find out as we attempt to break the world record for the longest non-stop swim in history, without ANY help from a tide OR current. This swim for the sea is all in aid of raising awareness for the protection and preservation of the seas with Talisker x Parley, who are starting a new project to help protect sea kelp forests in Scotland. I’ll be doing this in the beautiful wild waters of Scotland, in incredible Loch Ness! The longest-ever swim done here is two lengths, but I will be attempting FIVE!

No Limit – Everything We Know About the Netflix Romance Film | Ready Steady Cut
Roxana (Camille Rowe) drops out from her studies, and leaves her life in Paris to take a freediving course in the beautiful south of France. Here she falls in love with her teacher and world champion freediver Pascal Gauthier (Sofiane Zermani).
This film is inspired by a true story, about two people discovering the world of the intense sport, free-diving, as well as discovering things about themselves.
From watching the trailer, I think we are in for a steamy, hot, stormy romance, unpredictable, with no limits, all mirrored by their chosen shared sport.

Authorities Warn of Extremely Dangerous Conditions at Calaveras County Swimming Hole | KCRA News
Calaveras County authorities are warning people about a particular swimming hole, especially as Labor Day weekend brings the potential for record-high temperatures. It’s almost a two-mile walk from the parking area to the river access and much of it is downhill and among rough terrain. That means the return walk is uphill.
