Olympic swimmers, sponsored by swimwear manufacturer Speedo, say they are expecting great things from what the brand is calling their ‘fastest swimsuits’, in Paris this summer.

“I feel like it’s helped me feel faster when I wear it,” Regan Smith, World Champion backstroke specialist told Reuters as she trained at Arizona State University campus.

There was a similar reaction from Olympic champion and two times World Champion Matt Richards in London, also sponsored by the brand, who compared the Fastskin LZR men’s jammers to ‘swimming above the water.’

“It’s like going from wearing a normal pair of swimming trunks to wearing something where all of a sudden it makes you feel fast. It makes everything feel easier,” Richards told Reuters.
