When a person is immersed in cold water without a life jacket on, there are limits to how long a person can keep themselves afloat – regardless of what swimming (or floating) technique is used.

Chad Le Clos makes high school girl’s dream come true
Melanie Olhaus secured a date with Chad Le Clos after bunking off school earlier this year to greet the South African Olympic team as they returned home. At the airport, Melanie, 17, held up a sign asking ‘Chad will you be my matric dance date?’ And, after spotting the sign, the 20-year-old swimmer agreed. Awesome.Read Hello!

The magnificent Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Sports Complex during pre-competition training just before the Dubai 2010 World Short Course Swimming Championships began, venue of the Dubai 2012 World Cup leg these days. This view just below from where the sheiks sat, but actually all seats were bolstered VIP seats, only they got better and better with carpets and flower pots and everything :-)
