Ian Thorpe used to promote ‘closet’ gay club
Read GayStarNewsA photo of Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe is being used to promote a Melbourne ‘closet’ gay dance party.
The promotional poster for the ‘Closet Party’ features a black and white image of the swimmer above a slogan saying it is ‘for homosexuals and those who love them.’

CLOSET have made the following statement to TheVine, which they will be posting on their Facebook page shortly: “CLOSET is billed as a night for homosexuals and those who love them.
