World renowned long distance, cold water swimmer, Theodore Yach, has completed a record breaking 70th crossing from Robben Island to Cape Town in tough conditions including icy 11 degree water.

It looks a bit rough, and was open only for a weekend or so, the 650 meter long world’s longest water slide set up with duct tape and tent pegs and stuff at Waimauku in New Zealand. And apparently no-one made the full length, but only 550 meters. This record can be broken! See 3News.

The former swimming coach at Bayard Rustin High School was sentenced to Chester County Prison Tuesday for his sexual affair with one of the swimmers on his team.

Common Pleas Court Judge David Bortner rejected Keith Fuller’s plea to allow him to remain free so he could support and care for his family, and instead ordered him to serve 7 to 23 months term in jail.

“There is no doubt in my mind that confinement will involve hardship for Mr. Fller and his dependants,” Bortner said at the conclusion of an emotional three-hour sentencing hearing, during which Fuller, 48, of West Goshen, asked for forgivingness.

“But he should have thought about that before he decided to act the way he did,” Bortner said.
