Short course world champion Lauren Boyle has again been crowned New Zealand’s swimmer of the year and will lead a 14-strong team to this year’s world championships in Barcelona.

The 50 meter pool ‘Ãsvallalaug‘ in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, opened in 2008. Swimmers from Havnar Svimjifelag here in the Faroes have been competing there this weekend, at the 6th Actavis International Open, and did well. 3 Faroese records and a junior record, plus 3rd spot in the medal count.
