Drowning confirmed as Vejle Fjord Svøm swimmer’s cause of death

‘Based on the autopsy, the police announced Wednesday afternoon that the woman who died during the Vejle Fjordsvøm on Sunday, died because of drowning. The Danish Swimming Federation is now awaiting the police’s overall report, including witness interviews.’

Shallow water blackout can kill experienced swimmers

It may at first make little sense, how an expert swimmer physically fit and water savvy can drown.
It nearly claimed the life of competitive swimmer 15-year-old Chris Pilotte, during practice with a Baltimore County swim team last year.
“They realized that I was under water and they pulled me out and did CPR,” Pilotte said.
After swimming for 45 minutes, the team began vigorously practicing underwater breath control. It was on the second lap of a set that Pilotte went to the bottom of the pool for about 45 seconds.

Ryan Lochte plays ‘Did I tweet that’ on ‘The Crossover’

Michelle Beadle tested the 11-time Olympic medalist on “The Crossover†on Tuesday. Beadle read one tweet at a time, asking Lochte if it was him, Michael Phelps or Jose Canseco who had tweeted each out.
Lochte also says why he swam in the Hudson River and plays an “Impossibly Random Questions†segment (below).
