A friend came to the rescue of his mate in Bondi Beach.
The man got into trouble in heavy surf and strong currents and could not make it back to shore.
Fearing for his friends safety, his friend jumped into the surf to help keep the man afloat prior to the arrival of lifeguards.
Police, Ambulance and the Rescue Helicopter were tasked to the incident however no further treatment was needed.
Both remain in good spirits and have returning home with a story to tell.

In the summer of 1907, an Australian woman by the name of Annette Kellerman made a startling appearance on the sands of Revere Beach just north of Boston. Amid the female sunseekers wearing the standard bathing costume of the time—blouse; skirt; stockings; swimming shoes—she strolled toward the water in a short-sleeved unitard cut to two inches above the knee.
For this stunt, Kellerman was promptly arrested for indecent exposure. “She was denounced as a wanton,†reported the New York Times, “and dark prophecies were made as to the future of America.â€
The incident, which ended with a judge dismissing Kellerman on the proviso she wear a robe when walking to the water, was just the kind of publicity Kellerman needed on her quest to bring recreational swimming to American women.

Italy marches, Hungary comes back from 1-4
Italy looked pretty strong while defeating Romania 11-5 with ease in Group C. In Group D the Hungarians woke up after being 1-4 down against Russia and with a 11-2 rush they finally earned a 12-6 win. The Serbs defeated Croatia again, this time 8-4 in the women’s tournament.
An orange and white one-eyed cat named Kuli who was rescued from the streets as a tiny, malnourished kitten, amazingly took to water like a fish and loves to go swimming and surfing with his loving humans in the gorgeous blue-green waters of Honolulu, Hawaii.

Montenegrin miracle in the last 74 seconds
Another 8-8 was the highlight of the daily actions: this time Montenegro and Spain earned a point apiece after the Montenegrins had came back from 6-8 in the last 74 seconds. Serbia and Croatia netted 20 goals apiece, while the Netherlands stopped at 25, the Russians scored 21 among the women. Here the top game saw Hungary upending Greece 9-6.
