    Summer officially got under way on Sunday with many expected to flee to the beach over the upcoming months. With beaches full of swimmers and surfers, lifeguards are back on duty to ensure people swim safely. This afternoon they were educating a group of children on how to be water safe, teaching them where to swim and what to do if danger strikes.
