The daily routines of some of the world’s most successful people — from Richard Branson to Oprah Winfrey — include a morning workout. And Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps is no exception. In fact, the star athlete says exercise helps him be more successful.

“Being able to just get out there and sweat is something that I need,” Phelps tells CNBC Make It. “So I kind of have to make sure I get that little bit of time, whether it’s 20 or 30 minutes, to myself. Just to get ready, to get prepared so I can be a better dad, a better husband, a harder worker.”

During a dive, the two divers were working their way along a rock wall when one of them noticed something moving behind a very dense kelp growth. Shifting a few of the very large kelp leaves revealed a massive octopus, known as a Giant Pacific Octopus. As you will see, the octopus almost immediately engaged with the diver showing intense curiosity.

Did a beluga whale give away Russia’s secrets? The whale was found swimming in Arctic Norway by a bunch of fisherman. The animal caught their eyes because it seemed to be tied up in something. A closer inspection showed a harness was tightly clipped around its body. The Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries says “Equipment St. Petersburg” was written on the harness and it featured a mount for an action camera. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano has more.

This year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue will be a little different this time, with the definition of ‘swimsuit’ widened to include the modesty garment known as a burkini. The full-body swimwear is modeled by stunning 21-year-old Somali-American Halima Aden, who was born in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya before moving to the United States aged 7.
