Swedish Top Swimmers to Skip the Glasgow 2019 European Short Course Championships
Sarah Sjöström has earlier decided to drop the Glasgow 2019 Europeans for the new ISL Swimming Series. Now it is also clear that World Cup high ranked Michelle Coleman will prioritize training rather than the Europeans, and that the sisters Louise and Sophie Hansson plus Victor Johansson willhanss skip the Europeans apparently due to obligations at their US colleges.
Erik Persson, Simon Sjödin och Robin Hanson are preselected and will attend the Glasgow 2019 European Short Course Championships, while the rest of the team will be decided after the Swedish Short Course Championships in Eskilstuna on 13-17 November.

Swimming before he could walk
NPHS Senior Sean Faikish has been in the water since he was an infant. The Faikish family and swimming are synonymous in the NP Aquatic community. Sean was recruited and has committed to Notre Dame next Fall, is the defending state champion in the 200 IM, and will compete at the Olympic Trials in June. As he completes his senior year, Sean and the water polo team are training to finish strong at the PA state championship this weekend. Ten swimmers have started training for the upcoming CANA Zone 3 championship that will be held in Nairobi next month as well as the FINA Dubai gala. The swimmers drawn from Nairobi County are under the tutelage of coach Dominic Omwamba who will head the team during the training camp.
