‘There Is a Reason’ Men and Women Compete Separately in Sport | Sky News Australia
Sky News host Rita Panahi says in the gender-fluid age of identity politics where feelings matter more than chromosomes, women are being asked to accept athletes with an unfair advantage.
“They’re being asked to accept competitors like Lia Thomas – a transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer who was born male and competed as a male swimmer but now identifies as female and competes on the women’s team,†Ms. Panahi said.
“Sadly, most of Thomas’ competitors are too scared to publicly criticize this clown world lunacy.
“There’s a reason we have a men’s and women’s category in sport. Men and women are different and pretending otherwise only disadvantages women.â€

Filipina-Canadian Olympic Swimmer Kayla Sanchez Making it in Canada Trailer, Airing on MYX 1/30
Kayla Sanchez is one of those most prominent Filipina-Canadian athletes. She’s represented Canada on the Olympic and World Championship levels. She’s a two-time Olympic Medalist, bringing home a silver and bronze medal from the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Her first major international competition was in 2017 when she competed in the World Junior Swimming Championships in Indianapolis, representing Canada. At that first major international competition, Kayla took home two individual medals and a slew of gold medals with her team. Kayla then went on to compete with Canada’s 2018 Commonwealth Games team, and in 2019 she was a member of the inaugural International Swimming League.
