    A shark has killed an Australian tourist near a crowded beach in the French Pacific territory of New Caledonia. The 59-year-old man was swimming close to a pontoon about 150 meters from the beach in the capital Noumea on Sunday when the shark attacked and bit him several times.

    A large decorative helicopter fell from the ceiling into a swimming pool below while people were in the water. It happened just after 3 p.m. Sunday.
