In a press release last week, Bergen Swim Festival 2013 could boast a best ever field of world-class swimmers, including 4 male breaststroke finalists from the London 2012 Olympics. Also known as the Alexander Dale Oen Memorial, there is no doubt that the congregation of swim stars has a lot to do with them wanting to honor their lost friend Alex, who died just before last year’s meet in Bergen.

Chapman News: Swim Coach Dusenbury Banned For Life
“A former Mission Viejo Nadadores swim coach has been banned for life by swimming’s national governing body after he had an inappropriate relationship with a female teenage swimmer. Daniel Dusenbury, was banned by USA Swimming after officials obtained a DVD filled with explicit details of their long-term sexual relationship. The team’s officials commented that as early as 2006, Dusenbury was involved in a relationship that lasted for more than four years with a 15-year-old swimmer from Aliso Niguel High. Dusenbury has not yet commented on his punishment.”
