    London City Swim 2018 started as a blustery autumn day, with the wind left over from storm Ali proving challenging, but as the event drew closer, it was as if the Committee had booked a special slot with a greater power even than them! The clouds cleared, the wind dropped and the sun blessed us with its presence.

  • Florida school bus takes a swim

    Orange County Fire Rescue said the bus, carrying nine students to Magnolia School, and a Jeep were involved in a crash. The bus traveled into a yard and through a fence before nosediving into the pool.

    Troopers said the Jeep swerved to avoid a dead cat in the road, prompting the bus to drive off the road.

    Fire Rescue tweeted that the driver of the Jeep suffered non-serious injuries. She was taken to a hospital, officials said.

    Scottish Swimming’s Club of the Year for 2018 is Kirkintilloch & Kilsyth ASC (KKASC). In a final shortlist of three alongside Larkhall Avondale ASC and Edinburgh Synchronised SC, KKASC came out on top.
