Highlights London (GBR) | FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2019
The 2019 FINA/CNSG Diving World Series in London saw action from home-grown superstar Thomas Daley as he graced the podium twice, picking up gold with Grace Reid in the mixed 3m synchro and bronze in the men’s 10m platform.
Australia’s Maddison Keeney did the same except for upgrading to silver in the mixed 3m synchro, while picking up gold in her individual 3m springboard event.
Of course China went home with some gold as they usually do, with Yang Hao taking gold in the men’s 10m platform, followed by Lian Junjie who took the silver medal.

Olympic swim champion Ruta Meilutyte retires at 22 after missing doping tests
Lithuanian swimmer Ruta Meilutyte announced her retirement on Wednesday at the age of 22 after missing three doping tests, ending a career in which she became Olympic and world champion.
Lithuania’s swimming federation said earlier this month that Meilutyte faced a suspension of up to two years for missing three drug tests, meaning she would be ruled out of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
“The swimmer took full responsibility for missing all tests,” the federation said, adding that Meilutyte had failed to properly inform international anti-doping authorities about her whereabouts.

Photographing para swimmer Darko Duric
This one is a bit of a treasure from our video archives. Last year, Canon Ambassador Samo Vidic wanted to capture the story of Slovenian swimmer Darko Duric. Using his Canon EOS 6D Mark II for the portrait session and Canon EOS 5D Mark IV for the under water shots, along with, his Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM and Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM lenses, he captured the Paralympic swimmer in action.
