Thousands of swimmers join this year’s International Yangtze River Crossing Festival

The 44th International Yangtze River Crossing Festival was held in Wuhan City in central China’s Hubei Province on Monday. 4,700 swimmers joined this annual competition. The yearly activity commemorates the day in 1966 when Chairman Mao swam in the Yangtze River at the age of 72.
