A little over five years ago, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island opened the very first all-glass, undersea restaurant, offering guests the chance to eat 16 feet below sea level of the breathtaking tropical Indian Ocean. Now in celebration of this, they turned the Ithaa restaurant into a temporary private Hilton-class bedroom suite for two, complete with a private champagne dinner and breakfast in bed. With the water clarity of the Maldives being notoriously excellent, 16 feet of crystal clear water may be a little too little for the not-so-bold newlyweds. But then maybe the Mantas can help, visiting the windows like here below from when the room was a restaurant, making sure that everybody stays close together.

The top view is absolutely breathtaking too, and the water warm. And if you don’t get to go there, maybe the Dubai alternative is a possibility, for instance when the World Cup event will be there this autumn.
