Open water swimming after a long break due to injury, coronavirus, pandemic or just taking a step back from swimming and triathlon can be difficult. Open water swimming without a break can be daunting for beginner triathletes and swimmers as well. Coach Bryan, the head coach of TheSwimMechanic.com and the president of OneWithTheOcean.org, gave us his top tips for getting back into the open water. Community Swim Class: Researcher supports Rett syndrome community
Michela Fagiolini, PhD is a neuroscience researcher at Boston Children’s Hospital studying Rett syndrome and other autism-related disorders. A meeting with a family affected by Rett syndrome inspired Dr. Fagiolini to create a volunteer swim program to give individuals with Rett syndrome more freedom and mobility.
